Daria Okhrimenko is a Ukrainian contemporary artist born in 1989 in Kyiv, Ukraine, obtained a Master's degree in economics in 2012 and started painting in 2020. Her artistic practice explores the self through a symbolic visual language, moving away from direct human depiction toward animal imagery as carriers of emotional states. Her work creates a space where tenderness, vulnerability, and strength coexist, reflecting her perception of the world through sensitivity, imagination, and an attention to beauty. Drawing on familiar motifs—animals, flowers, domestic objects—she builds layered compositions that hold memory, intuition, and unspoken meaning within a quiet, dreamlike stillness.
